Matching the machine to the pour

For full baseplates, a paddle mixer-pump plant with a 34 to 45 gallon tank keeps a continuous pour so the grout never cold-joints. Twin tank plants alternate mixing and pumping for the largest foundations.

For anchor pockets and single mounts, a hand-held mixer and a hand pump are enough. Epoxy grout needs aggressive mixing and fast cleanup, so use a heavy-duty or forced-action mixer and plan solvent washout.

What size plant for machine-base grouting?

A 34 to 45 gallon paddle mixer-pump covers most baseplates in one continuous operation. For single pockets and anchor bolts, a hand mixer and hand pump are enough.

Cement or epoxy equipment?

Cement grouts run through any paddle plant. Epoxy grouts need aggressive mixing and quick cleanup, so use a forced-action or heavy-duty paddle mixer and plan solvent washout.
