Description

Multi-ply shock pad built from oil resistant neoprene-frictioned fabric with 64 plies per inch, manufactured to MIL-C-882-E. Thicknesses run 1/8 to 1 inch with compressive strength to 1,800 psi across the laminations. Placed under ball mills, forging hammers, heavy presses, compressors and foundry equipment to absorb impact shock, isolate vibration and damp structure-borne noise while protecting floors and mounting hardware from damage.

  • Standard: manufactured to MIL-C-882-E
  • Thicknesses: 7 to 64 ply (1/8 to 1 in)
  • Compression strength: up to 1,800 psi perpendicular to laminations
  • Tensile: 4,000 psi minimum
  • Recommended loading: 5 to 125 psi floor loading
  • Packaging: sheets/pads, 1/8 in to 1 in thick
